Weight...
From this in 2004...
To this in 2011
After years of trying to lose weight, I finally reached my goal this morning. I am now 125lbs. So what does that mean? Well-I am really happy to have transformed myself like that. It might have been a little easier if I had worked out and exercised but I didn't. I did however follow the basic rule of dieting-limit calories and the weight comes off.Now that I got here, I will continue to work at putting some exercise into my life. Not promising anything! Ha! I HATE IT! Would I like to lose more? Yes! Not sure if that is even possible... It was hard enough to get here. If I do it will be a surprise. I am okay with being here. I like wearing comfortable clothes. For the first time in years I am able to wear a size small. That feels good. So we shall see where things go but at least today I can check this off my list of goals!

15years? WTF?
Well sure enough, my 15 year anniversary came quickly!
Yet when I look at the photos from my wedding day I think, "Who are those dumb fabulous kids?!?" Ha!
He was only 24 years old and me? 26! Wow...
Then I realized that a lot of time has passed and we have accomplished much.
I mean, we did okay you know?
Please don't take that to mean it was easy...Ha! Are you kidding me? Marriage? It is a constant bloody battle! Okay maybe not so bloody-more like thumb wrestling but it took work. It is not completely prefect. We still have areas to improve.
I guess what I am saying is this...
The people we were then have changed but we are still manage to turn off the light at night and wake up together in the morning (after hitting the snooze button on the alarm about 20 times)...
I think that is pretty okay for 15years.

GRADUATIONS...
Today-besides being the RAPTURE- is my friend Joel's graduation from College (VCU)
What is truly amazing about Joel (too long a list to post at the moment of course *He made me write that*) Is that he is really a go-getter! If there was ANYONE who puts his mind to something and does it, it is Joel. (Wow I hope he doesn't get "Raptured" before they hand him that diploma!)
(This is a photo of when I met Joel for lunch back in 2006. He had to get down on his knees to be able to fit into this photo-as much as I am short, he is tall)
Anyway-Just wanted to extend this public appreciation to him for sticking to it. Coming from a college professor-it makes me proud- 8:43 am

Neptune 29 Sco 50Chapter 3: Mental Interests and Abilities (I am so far from being this person-although of course- some things apply I guess...)
Mercury in Capricorn:
Clear, objective, and realistic, you are unimpressed by exaggerated claims or promises. You insist upon being shown facts to back up any statement you hear, and your natural skepticism often borders on cynicism. You approach problems clearly and rationally and maintain your poise and objectivity even in the midst of critical situations. Anyone seeking your advice is certain to get an unemotional and unbiased assessment of their situation, and you therefore make a good arbitrator or judge. You are thorough, conscientious, and disciplined in your thinking, and have an aptitude for business, organization, and administration. You are also a good strategist, and will plan and patiently follow a realistic course which will lead to your eventual success. Serious-minded and studious, you enjoy quiet time alone for thinking or reading. (HA! Hardly)
Mercury Square Jupiter:
You have an abundance of ideas, interests, and plans for the future, and may find it difficult to focus on any particular area. You are not a specialist for you seek to get the broad overview, to see the whole picture rather than closely examining any of its component parts. Philosophy, religion, or other areas of theoretical speculation interest you.
You also possess foresight, numerous enterprising ideas, and a gambling instinct, all of which contribute to your success in the world of business. However, your optimism and grand vision can get you in trouble too; you sometimes promise more than you can deliver, gloss over important details that come back to haunt you later, and overestimate the potential of an idea or product.
Traveling is a great love of yours, especially if there is a mind-expanding or educational aspect involved, and you may travel extensively in your work. Consulting or education would be good fields for you.
Mercury in 4th house:
You have an introspective turn of mind and may enjoy keeping a journal or a record of your dreams and personal experiences, or learning about psychology, history, and the inner workings and emotional foundations of your own life. You are studious and something of a bookworm.
Mercury Trine Pluto:
Your mind is deep and penetrating and you are interested in anything secret, mysterious, or hidden, including the deeper aspects of the human psyche. You possess an aptitude for private investigation, psychology and research work. You are also drawn to esoteric or occult studies.
Mercury Sextile Neptune:You are open and receptive to subjects which defy rational explanation, such as psychic phenomena, mental telepathy, metaphysics, etc., and you could teach these subjects to others. Your mind is imaginative and inspired and you have an aptitude for art and creative writing.
