To the Unknown Land
Beyond words…I had a brief strong love affair in the late 1980′-early 1990′s with Pre-Raphaelite artists & knew Edmund Blair-Leighton’s works but seeing this tonight-Reminds me WHY I want to paint-and paint deeply and meaningfully. This image, is what I hope to be able to achieve one day. I want to know what it is like to paint something that is so moving that it makes me cry when I see it.
