Not good to NOT eat … did you know that many smaller meals of foods that are good for you increases BMR (baseline metabolic rate), increases energy levels, and decreases appetite, among other things. Nutrition experts say that when it comes to weight loss, irregular eating patterns and skipped meals can mean trouble… which you’ve found is true.
The smaller, more frequent meals, can be like a snack ..apples, fruit, veggies, protein drink, or other things. Also good to drink LOTS of water, it cleans out your system, keeps you hydrated, good for complexions too!
Anyway… feel free to tell me to shut-up (or worse), or ignore me… I just felt compelled to comment on your post.
BTW, you are lovely Jane, inside and out, just how you are now.
Blessings,
Roberta
@RobertaK - Thank you for continuing to visit and comment. I can’t bring myself to eat multiple time a day like that anymore.Mentally I can’t do it. I refuse. No matter what it is-the weight comes back. Fast. Too Fast. In one weekend, if I eat more than one meal a day, I get on the scale and I have gained 3-5lbs by that Monday. I can’t keep doing that.
(*I do drink LOTS of iced tea/iced coffee all day long. That is what helps me get though the day without eating.)
I look at how my Mom was & how she managed to be so thin-she only ate once a day-It became her life-style as long as I knew her. She never ate breakfast or lunch-just dinner. At some point when you stop eating-you do just start losing weight.
*Side note: At this point, I need to drop this weight because of a job I am doing. The camera puts on weight -so think of this like any actor out there who is preparing for a role for a movie and how they have to get ready.
Also-this blog is just a place for me to complain out loud. I certainly don’t show it daily. Writing just helps me vent. Take what I say here as just that. )
